About Florence
Florence Amate is the Founder and President of Laisar Management Group. A management consulting company based in Silver Spring, Maryland that is helping organizations rethink the role Supplier Diversity and Sustainability plays in their overall business strategy. Organizations in every industry have relied on Florence and her team to shape their community engagement and sustainability strategies.
The company deploys a unique set of processes to leverage the power of institutional data to assess, implement, and succeed in supplier diversity initiatives. Ms. Amate’s deep knowledge of economic and workforce inclusion, regulatory requirements, and program implementation has allowed her to assist clients to systematize, elevate, and report on their DEI initiatives in supplier diversity.
Florence’s belief that companies are stronger when they take the time to understand their common interest within the communities in which they choose to operate has been evident in the projects that she has worked on over the last 20 years. Since 2011, she has successfully developed and managed socio-economic and workforce inclusion solutions utilizing a host of proprietary business and data analytics applications. She is an ambassador for the power of using data to tell the story of DEI advancement, showing progress through statistics as well as the impact on communities and institutional success that can be directly attributed to supplier diversity and sustainability initiatives.
